We’re pleased to welcome Birchcroft Hideaway to the Good Access Guide.
This disabled friendly self-catering holiday bungalow is situated near Ferndown in Dorset and is set in over one acre of private grounds.
The owner, Sonia Hall, welcomes guests to her chalet bungalow which is large enough to accommodate two families across both floors.
Ground floor bedrooms and a wet room means that the property is suitable for wheelchair users or someone with limited mobility.
And Dorset is such a fantastic county in which to holiday.
Whether you want to sample the seafront at Bournemouth, visit MonkeyWorld or the Tank Museum – there’s is loads to do that is accessible. And you can’t miss the beautiful Lulworth Cove – it’s stunning. But beware, it’s a steep slope down to the water’s edge and having pushed a wheelchair back up again you’ll certainly get some exercise!
Weymouth and Portland are well worth a visit too – even better on a gorgeous summers day.
