About Us
The Ustinov was opened in 1997 and is attached to the famous Theatre Royal Bath. Set in Monmouth Street just around the corner from the Theatre Royal, the studio is the setting for small-scale professional touring companies, staging one-man shows, small operas and classical music concerts. Additional Information
There is a level entrance through double doors which lead to a bar area. There is a fully accessible adapted toilet on the ground floor. A lift is available (minimum door width 80 cms) to take you to the auditorium on the first floor. The auditorium has double doors and the wheelchair spaces are in the third row of the raked auditorium, which offer an excellent view of the performance.
In order that the studio may offer you as warm a welcome as possible, please advise the booking office of any special needs in advance (all bookings via the main Theatre Royal office).
Hearing Dogs and Guide Dogs are welcome and the staff are happy to look after them by prior arrangement. A Sennheiser Infra-red Audio system is available.
There is parking directly outside in Monmouth Street. For further details of parking in Bath and details of the main theatre please view the Theatre Royal Bath site.
