About Us

Cyclone Mobility & Fitness Equipment are specialists in the disabled market. Managing Director Stuart Dunne is himself in a wheelchair following a road accident.

In July 1985 Stuart was rushed to Midlands Spinal Injuries Centre, following a severe road traffic accident. Six months later, following intense rehabilitation and specialist care, Stuart emerged to face life beyond the hospital boundaries.


Having such a high cervical injury (C6/7) life was very difficult - just moving the NHS issue wheelchair was like pushing a Sherman Tank !

It was then that Stuart realised that there was a solution. In 1989 the first Cyclone lighweight wheelchair was produced and was the start of greater things to come.

Cyclone Mobility and Fitness are now one of the leading disability equipment providers in the UK.
